About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach didactic radiology courses to dental students
- Supervise students in the oral radiology clinic, including clinical teaching of intraoral and extraoral dental techniques
- Assess student radiographs and perform various oral radiographs, including CBCT and other patient imaging as requested
- Maintain radiology inventory and coordinate student schedules with patients
- Interact professionally with faculty, graduate students, undergraduate students, and staff members
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Proven experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- Demonstrated teaching, supervisory, and managerial abilities
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and patient care standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Earned post-graduate degree (MS, PhD, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated record of teaching and clinical excellence
- Experience with CT or advanced imaging knowledge
