Clinical Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Assist the PSC Director in the development and implementation of policies and procedures
• Facilitate students’ professional development and clinical training
• Supervise doctoral students and provide on-site support during workdays and evenings
• Conduct phone screenings and triage clinical cases
• Attend PSC administrative and clinical meetings
• Coordinate clinic didactics and ensure fidelity to the PSC mission
• Aid in the creation and maintenance of intra-departmental, inter-departmental, and community collaborations

Requirements

• PsyD or PhD from an APA-accredited clinical psychology program
• Current New York State license in Psychology
• Specialization in Psychodynamic intervention

About the Company

Long Island University's Psychological Services Center (PSC) serves as a training site for the PsyD Clinical Psychology Program. The center provides services to children, adolescents, and adult clients from the community using a dual-orientation approach that includes both cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic therapies.
