Clinical Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical team daily and provide a model of compassionate care
• Ensure proper training and mentoring of clinical staff on best practices
• Oversee orientation and training on practice policies and procedures
• Interview, hire, and evaluate employee performance
• Monitor provider staff buckets within Athena and coordinate coverage
• Maintain clinical supplies and perform regular inventory
• Communicate with laboratory representatives to resolve specimen or billing issues
• Co-lead monthly department meetings to review performance metrics and standards
• Establish performance management expectations for all roles within the practice

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant
• Demonstrated aptitude for leadership roles
• Ability to travel occasionally between various office locations

Preferred Qualifications

• College degree
• Extensive Medical Assistant experience in an OBGYN practice setting
