About the role

Responsibilities

  • Represent Medtronic Neuromodulation during surgeries and implants by providing necessary equipment and technical expertise.
  • Demonstrate expertise in device selection, programming, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical product matters through one-on-one sessions and seminars.
  • Proactively identify clinical needs for new and existing accounts to support patient care.
  • Provide sales support by completing documentation, such as implant registration and invoices.
  • Maintain current knowledge of assigned products and competitive offerings in the neuromodulation market.
  • Assist in the training of new employees within the district, including therapy consultants and clinical specialists.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of clinical/patient care experience; OR
  • Associate’s Degree with 4+ years of clinical/patient care experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of clinical/patient care experience.
  • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory, including potential overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
  • Clinical experience with implantable neuromodulation products or electrical stimulation.
  • Experience in specialty areas such as urology, neurology, neurosurgery, or the operating room.
  • Proven ability to coach healthcare professionals on product use and clinical applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
