About the role
Responsibilities
- Represent Medtronic Neuromodulation during surgeries and implants by providing necessary equipment and technical expertise.
- Demonstrate expertise in device selection, programming, implantation, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Educate and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on technical product matters through one-on-one sessions and seminars.
- Proactively identify clinical needs for new and existing accounts to support patient care.
- Provide sales support by completing documentation, such as implant registration and invoices.
- Maintain current knowledge of assigned products and competitive offerings in the neuromodulation market.
- Assist in the training of new employees within the district, including therapy consultants and clinical specialists.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED with 6+ years of clinical/patient care experience; OR
- Associate’s Degree with 4+ years of clinical/patient care experience; OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of clinical/patient care experience.
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance.
- Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory, including potential overnight travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
- Clinical experience with implantable neuromodulation products or electrical stimulation.
- Experience in specialty areas such as urology, neurology, neurosurgery, or the operating room.
- Proven ability to coach healthcare professionals on product use and clinical applications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
