About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, clinical, and programming assistance to support Territory Managers and customers.
  • Assist with after-hours call support and clinical activities to ensure seamless service.
  • Build and maintain high-trust relationships with medical professionals and support staff.
  • Conduct educational in-services and training on the use of Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies products.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and guidance to medical professionals in both operating room and non-operating room settings.
  • Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback on product usage and market trends.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
  • Travel up to 25% within the assigned region to support clinical needs.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree or technical certification (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
  • 1-2 years of clinical work experience, preferably collaborating with patients in a clinical setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate complex clinical data.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work an unpredictable schedule due to operating room changes.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to travel 25% within the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in patient interaction within healthcare environments (e.g., Physical Therapy, RN, LPN, or medical product sales).
  • 1-3 years of experience with Abbott or in a similar spinal cord stimulation (SCS) or implantable medical device setting.
  • Experience working within a large, cross-divisional business model.
