About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide technical, clinical, and programming assistance to support Territory Managers and customers.
- Assist with after-hours call support and clinical activities to ensure seamless service.
- Build and maintain high-trust relationships with medical professionals and support staff.
- Conduct educational in-services and training on the use of Abbott Chronic Pain Therapies products.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and guidance to medical professionals in both operating room and non-operating room settings.
- Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback on product usage and market trends.
- Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
- Travel up to 25% within the assigned region to support clinical needs.
Requirements
- Associates Degree or technical certification (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- 1-2 years of clinical work experience, preferably collaborating with patients in a clinical setting.
- Strong clinical skills and the ability to communicate complex clinical data.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work an unpredictable schedule due to operating room changes.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to travel 25% within the assigned region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in patient interaction within healthcare environments (e.g., Physical Therapy, RN, LPN, or medical product sales).
- 1-3 years of experience with Abbott or in a similar spinal cord stimulation (SCS) or implantable medical device setting.
- Experience working within a large, cross-divisional business model.
