Clinical Specialist, Advanced Access

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based training and consultation in vascular access management, including peripheral and central devices
• Collaborate with Territory Managers to meet business objectives and develop new vascular access services
• Deliver clinical training, educational programs, and technical support to hospital departments and individual clinicians
• Support the implementation of new products within clinical areas through expert clinical guidance
• Work with medical advisers to develop key advocates and potential Key Opinion Leaders
• Collect clinical data and report on outcomes to demonstrate improved patient care

Requirements

• 1st Level Nursing Qualification with current NMC registration
• Hands-on experience with the insertion of peripheral and central vascular access devices
• Strong clinical knowledge of IV therapy and best practices in vascular access

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a dedicated Vascular Access Team
• Experience delivering theoretical and practical clinical training or supervision
• Teaching, mentoring, or supervisory clinical education experience with recognized certification
• Experience using data collection and outcome reporting to demonstrate clinical improvements
• Vascular Access Board Certification (AVA)
