Clinical Sourcing Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for clinical and associated categories, managing projects from demand gathering to contracting.
• Develop and execute category strategies in collaboration with stakeholders to drive value, cost savings, and risk mitigation.
• Conduct regional sourcing and commercial negotiations to secure favorable terms in accordance with company standards.
• Foster and manage strategic relationships with key suppliers to optimize performance and total cost of ownership.
• Analyze procurement data and market trends to drive data-driven decision-making and supplier optimization.
• Manage multiple simultaneous projects, ensuring clear communication of progress and milestones to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemicals, BioPharma, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 6+ years of clinical or associated sourcing experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Deep knowledge of key clinical categories including CROs, Central Lab, Depot, and SMO.
• Proficiency in procurement and analytics systems such as SAP Ariba, S/4 HANA, Coupa, or Power BI.
• Strong expertise in international tendering, TCO modeling, and Should-Cost analysis.
• Fluency in English with the ability to conduct complex international business negotiations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional procurement certifications such as CIPS or CPSM.
• MBA degree.
• Additional experience in indirect procurement.
