About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement facility policies and clinical management procedures to ensure high-quality care.
- Supervise clinical activities to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as accreditation standards.
- Manage and mentor clinical staff, including BHTs, clinicians, and clinical coordinators.
- Oversee the delivery of appropriate clinical services for adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and co-occurring disorders.
- Provide direct administrative and clinical supervision to ensure effective communication among the clinical team.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to initiate training, mentoring, and performance improvement activities.
- Facilitate the integration of recovery philosophy and evidence-based practices into everyday clinical operations.
- Conduct clinical staff meetings to discuss goals, objectives, and resolve operational barriers.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related discipline (e.g., MA, MC, MSW).
- Arizona Independent License: LPC or LCSW required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory position.
- Proven experience working with populations experiencing Serious Mental Illness (SMI).
- BLS certification.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and meeting company driving policy requirements.
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (or ability to obtain within 7 days).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Clinical Coordinator.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Knowledge of Electronic Health Records, specifically NextGen.
