About the role
Responsibilities
- Implement facility policies and clinical management procedures to ensure high standards of care.
- Supervise clinical activities to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, as well as accreditation standards.
- Manage clinical staff, providing direct administrative and clinical supervision to Clinical Coordinators and Liaisons.
- Oversee the delivery of appropriate clinical services for adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and co-occurring disorders.
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to initiate training, mentoring, and performance improvement activities.
- Serve as a mentor, coach, and teacher for staff regarding assessment and treatment planning.
- Facilitate the integration of recovery philosophy and SMI principles into everyday clinical practice.
- Conduct clinical staff meetings to discuss goals, objectives, and resolve operational barriers.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a related discipline (e.g., MA, MC, MSW).
- Arizona Independent License: LPC or LCSW required.
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership/supervisory experience.
- Proven experience working with diverse populations, specifically those with Serious Mental Illness (SMI).
- BLS certification.
- Valid Arizona driver's license and meeting company driving policy requirements.
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (or ability to obtain within 7 days).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in behavioral health.
- Experience with NextGen Electronic Health Records.
