Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel
• Assist the Executive Director/Administrator in the preparation and administration of the organization's budget
• Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes and impact on staffing, revenues, or expenses
• Evaluate team performance and develop skills in evaluating clinicians and supportive care staff
• Assist with hiring, evaluations, and terminations of organization personnel
• Oversee maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, and reports in compliance with local, state, and federal laws
• Manage adequate inventory of supplies and equipment for patient services
• Develop, implement, and evaluate orientation and continuing education programs for personnel
• Ensure compliance with CHAP hospice standards and all regulatory licensure requirements
• Promote hospice referrals in the healthcare community

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nursing (required)
• Active nursing license in good standing in the state of Indiana
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
• Analytical problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing or related healthcare field
• 3-5 years of experience in healthcare management, hospice, or palliative care
• 2-5 years of experience with Medicare Hospice Certification and CHAP guidelines
