Clinical Scientist II

Responsibilities

• Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Regulatory, and R&D to identify evidence gaps
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to drive clinician collaboration
• Lead the design of clinical research protocols for implants, biologics, and surgical procedures
• Organize and manage large research datasets ensuring accuracy and traceability
• Compile, analyze, and interpret research data across multiple modalities
• Prepare technical engineering documentation and scientific communications
• Disseminate findings through conference abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering required (MS or PhD preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of medical device experience
• Knowledge of clinical investigations in accordance with ICH/GCP and US CFR
• Proficiency in literature searches and critical evaluation of findings
• Strong understanding of clinical research and statistical/analytical methods
• Strong technical writing skills
• Familiarity with electronic data capture systems (EDC, EMR)
• Experience in peer-reviewed literature retrieval and publishing

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the spine industry
• Knowledge of orthopedics research
