Clinical School Officer

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level operational and administrative support for students undertaking clinical placements in hospitals and clinics.
• Assist in the establishment and ongoing operations of the Coffs Harbour Clinical School.
• Coordinate clinical teaching, student orientation, induction programs, and clinical assessments.
• Maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including hospital staff and academic leadership.
• Monitor student progress during placements and escalate concerns to appropriate channels.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of improvements to administrative systems and processes.
• Ensure teaching spaces and student support facilities are prepared and maintained.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or extensive experience in health, clinical, or education administration.
• Proven experience interpreting and providing advice on education policies and procedures.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and student management systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working in clinical settings.
• Experience in data analysis and high-quality administrative support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the SONIA student management system.
