About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory services with a focus on oxygen therapy, clinical support, and ventilatory care
- Conduct full respiratory assessments, diagnostics, and evaluate test results
- Develop respiratory therapy treatment plans in consultation with clients, physicians, and care teams
- Deliver equipment and supplies to clients and perform home environment safety assessments
- Provide follow-up care to evaluate treatment effectiveness and ensure therapy compliance
- Liaise with healthcare professionals to support business growth and provide product education
- Maintain knowledge of clinical best practices and provincial funding processes
- Participate in sleep duties, including initiating PAP therapy when prescribed
Requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
- Licensed to practice with the provincial governing body (CARTA)
- Strong cardio-respiratory assessment skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Clear vulnerable persons check
- Proficiency with Microsoft, Google applications, and Android
