Clinical Research Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical trials and observational studies for the Division of Rheumatology Scleroderma team.
• Perform study procedures including specimen management (collection, processing, packing, and shipping).
• Coordinate study logistics such as scheduling initiation meetings, monitor visits, and audits.
• Document data in accordance with ALCOA-C principles and resolve data queries.
• Maintain essential regulatory documents in compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines.
• Identify and report Adverse Events (AEs) and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs).
• Assist with administrative tasks including creating posters, abstracts, and articles.
• Support subject safety and ensure protocol compliance.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Health Science or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Minimum 1 year of directly related experience in clinical research and clinical trials.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Science.
• Experience working in a large, complex healthcare setting.
• Ability to effectively communicate with staff and faculty at all levels.
• Knowledge of university policies and procedures.
