About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day activities for assigned clinical research studies focused on hypertension and stroke prevention
  • Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants in accordance with protocol requirements
  • Schedule and manage study visits, including participant follow-up activities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for study participants to ensure a positive experience
  • Maintain accurate and timely study documentation, including regulatory and source documents
  • Assist with data collection and entry in study databases
  • Support study teams and investigators with operational tasks related to study execution
  • Collaborate with research staff to ensure adherence to study timelines and goals

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Health Science or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
  • Minimum 1 year of directly related experience in clinical research and clinical trials
  • OR an advanced degree in a health-related field (e.g., Public Health, Epidemiology, Psychology, etc.)
  • OR minimum 3 years of human subject experience (clinical, lab, or health regulations)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in health sciences, public health, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience interacting with human subjects in a clinical or research setting
  • Prior experience coordinating clinical research studies
  • Familiarity with participant recruitment and retention strategies
  • Experience with data entry and research documentation systems such as REDCap
