About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day activities for assigned clinical research studies focused on hypertension and stroke prevention
- Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants in accordance with protocol requirements
- Schedule and manage study visits, including participant follow-up activities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for study participants to ensure a positive experience
- Maintain accurate and timely study documentation, including regulatory and source documents
- Assist with data collection and entry in study databases
- Support study teams and investigators with operational tasks related to study execution
- Collaborate with research staff to ensure adherence to study timelines and goals
Requirements
- Associate degree in Health Science or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
- Minimum 1 year of directly related experience in clinical research and clinical trials
- OR an advanced degree in a health-related field (e.g., Public Health, Epidemiology, Psychology, etc.)
- OR minimum 3 years of human subject experience (clinical, lab, or health regulations)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health sciences, public health, or a related field
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience interacting with human subjects in a clinical or research setting
- Prior experience coordinating clinical research studies
- Familiarity with participant recruitment and retention strategies
- Experience with data entry and research documentation systems such as REDCap
