About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with principal investigators.
  • Manage a cluster randomized trial involving high-risk women and primary care providers, monitoring recruitment and data collection.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data related to chemoprevention uptake and decision-making.
  • Conduct equity-focused evaluations using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR).
  • Prepare progress reports, manuscripts for scientific journals, and presentations for conferences.
  • Coordinate IRB compliance, including renewals, modifications, and annual progress reports.
  • Assist with project finances, including managing external vendor invoices and payments.
  • Participate in human-centered design activities, including usability testing and prototype evaluations for decision support tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • 3 years of related work experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Word and familiarity with Mac and PC platforms.
  • HIPAA training certification.
  • Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate.
  • Conflict of Interest (COI) training certification.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent with 1 year of relevant experience in research.
  • Managerial skills to oversee and train part-time staff and research personnel.
  • Knowledge of statistical software packages and qualitative research methodologies.
