Clinical Research Nurse/Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Present clinical trial concepts, objectives, and treatment details to potential patients
• Screen and enroll eligible patients and support the informed consent process
• Coordinate patient care and protocol compliance throughout the study
• Maintain regulatory and study documentation in accordance with applicable requirements
• Collaborate with physicians, monitors, auditors, sponsors, and research bases
• Track adverse events, concomitant medications, and protocol-related changes
• Support order preparation and communicate study requirements and dose modifications

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
• Current RN licensure in Virginia preferred
• BCLS or ACLS certification required
• At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in oncology
• Clinical research experience preferred
• Experience with database management and computer data entry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to interpret protocols, informed consent forms, and regulatory documents

Preferred Qualifications

• Oncology nursing experience
• OCN, SoCRA, or ACRP certification
• Experience supporting cellular therapy or oncology clinical trials
