Clinical Research Nurse

Responsibilities

• Carry out participant visits, observations, interventions and safety checks in line with study protocols and SOPs
• Complete pre-screen assessments to support patient recruitment
• Build positive relationships to encourage participant engagement and retention
• Record, verify and enter study data accurately into source notes and CRFs/eCRFs
• Respond to data queries promptly
• Maintain a professional, supportive environment for participants and colleagues
• Participate in MDT meetings
• Act confidently in emergencies such as cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis or critical incidents

Requirements

• Valid NMC PIN
• Strong clinical experience within a patient-facing environment
• Excellent clinical assessment and observational skills
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced research setting
• High attention to detail and accurate documentation
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems
