Clinical Research Nurse

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient health assessments and medication administration
• Obtain IV access through peripheral IV initiation
• Prepare and administer specialized intravenous or injectable pharmacological treatments
• Provide study participant care including observation, assessment, and counseling
• Report adverse events to supervisors or required stakeholders
• Maintain knowledge of study protocols and inclusion/exclusion criteria
• Contact potential study participants regarding enrolling studies
• Document study participant conditions and clinical activities

Requirements

• Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Previous experience providing multiple daily infusions
• Exceptional peripheral IV initiation skills
• Exceptional clinical assessment skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within an interdisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications

• Neurology experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent
