Clinical Research Intern

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-the-ground product expert at customer and clinical sites across the Houston area.
• Support product rollouts, software/hardware updates, and configuration changes at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot product issues in the field and coordinate resolutions with engineering teams.
• Assist with the planning and execution of clinical studies, ensuring adherence to protocols.
• Collect and document clinical observations, product performance data, and user feedback.
• Deliver product training sessions to clinical end-users and hospital staff.
• Develop and refine training materials, quick-reference guides, and onboarding documentation.
• Act as the voice of the customer by capturing qualitative and quantitative product feedback.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Health Informatics).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to clinical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Reliable access to transportation for travel to customer and clinical sites in the Houston area.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and video conferencing tools.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional communication with teams in India.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a clinical, medtech, or healthcare technology environment.
• Familiarity with patient monitoring systems, wearables, or nursing home workflows.
• Prior experience in a field application, clinical specialist, or technical support role.
• Exposure to clinical research protocols, IRB processes, or GCP guidelines.
