About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the on-the-ground product expert at customer and clinical sites across the Houston area.
- Support product rollouts, software/hardware updates, and configuration changes at customer facilities.
- Troubleshoot product issues in the field and coordinate resolutions with engineering teams.
- Assist with the planning and execution of clinical studies, ensuring adherence to protocols.
- Collect and document clinical observations, product performance data, and user feedback.
- Deliver product training sessions to clinical end-users and hospital staff.
- Develop and refine training materials, quick-reference guides, and onboarding documentation.
- Act as the voice of the customer by capturing qualitative and quantitative product feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Health Informatics).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to clinical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Reliable access to transportation for travel to customer and clinical sites in the Houston area.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and video conferencing tools.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional communication with teams in India.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in a clinical, medtech, or healthcare technology environment.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring systems, wearables, or nursing home workflows.
- Prior experience in a field application, clinical specialist, or technical support role.
- Exposure to clinical research protocols, IRB processes, or GCP guidelines.
