Clinical Research Coordinator III

Responsibilities

• Recruit study participants through identification, screening, and obtaining informed consent
• Coordinate patient visit schedules according to study protocols
• Execute all aspects of study visits including adverse event assessment and safety monitoring
• Manage medication, questionnaires, and sample collection, processing, and shipment
• Provide clinical care for trial participants and implement data collection per UHN policy and ICH/GCP guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a health or science-related discipline
• Registered Nurse (RN) with current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 3 to 5 years of clinical and/or professional nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in oncology with Leukemia/BMT knowledge
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process for patient care planning and evaluation
• Excellent organizational, time management, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Recognized certification in clinical research (ACRP or SOCRA)
• Previous clinical research experience
• Training in ICH/GCP guidelines
• Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures
• Experience in research contract budget management
