About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient activities for clinical studies within the Drug Development Program, including sample collection, processing, and shipment.
- Perform clinical assessments, vital signs, ECGs, and monitoring.
- Administer treatments in strict accordance with study protocols.
- Assist with clinical care for trial participants and manage data collection and source documentation following UHN policy and ICH/GCP guidelines.
- Collaborate with investigators and healthcare teams to ensure seamless study management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure/registration.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in oncology.
- Excellent phlebotomy, IV, and CVL skills.
- Strong organizational, time management, and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA certification in Oncology.
- deSouza Chemo/Bio certification.
- Recognized certification in clinical research (ACRP or SOCRA).
- Previous clinical research experience.
- Training in ICH/GCP guidelines.
- Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures.
