About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient activities including sample collection, processing, and shipment according to clinical trials protocols
  • Perform assessments, vital signs, ECGs, monitoring, and administration of treatments per study protocol
  • Assist with clinical care for patients participating in clinical trials
  • Implement and coordinate data collection and source documentation following UHN policy and ICH/GCP guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent
  • Current certificate of competence (licensure/registration) from a regulated health profession college
  • Registered Nurse with minimum 3 years of experience
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in oncology
  • Excellent phlebotomy, IV, and CVL skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word and Excel)

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNA certification in Oncology
  • deSouza Chemo/Bio certification
  • Recognized certification in clinical research (ACRP or SOCRA)
  • Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures
  • Training in ICH/GCP guidelines
  • Previous clinical research experience
