Clinical Research Coordinator III (GI)

Responsibilities

• Recruit study participants by identifying and screening potential subjects and obtaining informed consent
• Coordinate patient visit schedules in strict accordance with study protocols
• Execute all aspects of study visits, including assessing adverse events and monitoring safety
• Manage medication, questionnaires, and sample collection, including processing and shipment according to clinical protocols
• Provide clinical care for patients participating in clinical trials
• Implement and coordinate data collection and source documentation within required timeframes per UHN policy and ICH/GCP guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• 3 to 5 years of clinical and/or professional experience
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in oncology with a strong knowledge base in GI oncology
• Excellent organizational, time management, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and set priorities in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous clinical research experience
• Recognized certification in clinical research (ACRP or SOCRA)
• Training in ICH/GCP guidelines
• Knowledge of IATA shipping regulations and basic laboratory procedures
