Clinical Research Coordinator II

Responsibilities

• Independently coordinate and manage industry-sponsored clinical trials from start-up through closeout
• Lead patient recruitment and retention efforts including chart review and informed consent discussions
• Conduct protocol-required patient visits, assessments, and clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and ECGs
• Process laboratory specimens and prepare shipments in accordance with IATA regulations
• Maintain accurate study documentation, including source records, CTMS updates, and case report forms
• Ensure high-quality data entry and timely resolution of data queries
• Serve as the primary point of contact for study participants and communicate with sponsors and CROs
• Support regulatory monitoring visits, audits, and inspections
• Maintain inventory of study equipment and investigational products

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related discipline
• 3-5 years of clinical research or healthcare experience
• Proficiency with standard office software applications
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
• Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout clinical environments for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in gastroenterology, hepatology, or cardiology therapeutic areas
• CCRC®, CCRP®, or equivalent clinical research certification
• Proficiency with CTMS or EDC systems
