About the role
Responsibilities
- Independently coordinate and manage industry-sponsored clinical trials from start-up through closeout
- Manage complex study visit schedules and protocol-related activities
- Lead patient recruitment and retention efforts including chart review and informed consent
- Conduct protocol-required patient visits, assessments, and clinical procedures such as phlebotomy and ECGs
- Process laboratory specimens and prepare shipments in accordance with IATA regulations
- Maintain accurate study documentation including source records, CTMS updates, and case report forms
- Ensure high-quality data entry and timely resolution of data queries
- Serve as the primary point of contact for study participants
- Support sponsor, CRO, and regulatory monitoring visits, audits, and inspections
- Maintain compliance with GCP, HIPAA, and institutional policies
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, or related discipline
- 3-5 years of clinical research or healthcare experience
- Proficiency with standard office software applications
- Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- CCRC® (Certified Clinical Research Coordinator) or CCRP® (Certified Clinical Research Professional) certification
- Familiarity with CTMS or EDC systems
