About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate clinical research study subjects by utilizing Good Clinical Practices (GCP) to ensure protocol and regulatory compliance
- Review and assess study protocols for clarity and logistical feasibility
- Assist in the development and execution of recruitment plans and materials
- Coordinate and attend site initiation visits and monitor visits with Sponsor/CRO representatives
- Perform clinical procedures including blood draws (phlebotomy), vital signs, and ECGs
- Manage study documentation, including source documents, informed consent, and electronic data capture (EDC)
- Identify and promptly report adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) to the Principal Investigator
- Maintain accurate study medication inventory and patient compliance records
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
- Recent phlebotomy experience is required
- Strong working knowledge of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
- Proficiency in clinical trials databases, IVRS, and Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and professional communication skills
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week with regional travel requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 1 year of experience as a Care Access Research Clinical Research Coordinator
- Bilingual in Spanish
