About the role

Responsibilities

  • Promote the safety and confidentiality of research participants at all times
  • Plan and coordinate the initiation of research study protocols and implementation of operating policies
  • Implement and maintain data collection and analysis systems in support of research protocols
  • Recruit, instruct, and coordinate research subjects and volunteers according to study objectives
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities of technical support staff engaged in clinical protocols
  • Document all correspondence and communication pertinent to the research
  • Maintain and update regulatory documentation for IACUC or IRB, including protocols and approvals
  • Act as the primary liaison at the data collection site to explain projects to military personnel
  • Adhere to OSHA, GCP, GLP, and infection control procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office software
  • Knowledge of CFR, GCP, and ICH guidelines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work on-site at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in clinical research
  • 2-4 years of experience in non-profit, research, or healthcare environments
