About the role
Responsibilities
- Administratively and clinically manage industry-sponsored clinical trials
- Schedule patient research visits and procedures according to protocol
- Maintain study documentation including consent forms, source docs, and case report forms
- Lead patient recruitment activities, chart reviews, and informed consent verification
- Conduct patient visits, dispense study medication, and collect vital signs
- Perform blood draws, process specimens, and manage IATA regulations
- Administer IV medications, fluids, and injections as assigned
- Adhere to Research SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, and study protocols
- Maintain communication with CROs, sponsors, and study participants
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- 1–2 years of clinical research experience preferred
- Solid nursing background with interest in GI specialty
- Proficiency in standard office software and CTMS platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior GI or hepatology clinical research experience
- Familiarity with GCP guidelines and FDA regulations
- Experience with CTMS, EDC, or eTMF platforms
- ACRP or SOCRA certification (CCRC or CCRP)
