Clinical Research Coordinator I - Nurse

Responsibilities

• Administratively and clinically manage industry-sponsored clinical trials including problem solving, communication and protocol management
• Lead patient recruitment activities including chart reviews and informed consent verification
• Schedule and conduct patient research visits and procedures consistent with protocol requirements
• Dispense study medication, collect vital signs, and perform ECGs
• Perform blood draws, process, and ship specimens per study protocol and IATA regulations
• Place IVs, administer IV medication, and give intramuscular or subcutaneous injections as assigned
• Maintain documentation in CTMS, including consent forms, source documentation, and case report forms
• Act as the primary point of contact for study participants
• Adhere to Research SOPs, Good Clinical Practices, and study protocols
• Maintain ongoing communication with CROs, sponsors, and Principal Investigators
• Assist with routine data verification and quality control to ensure data integrity
• Schedule and prepare for monitor visits

Requirements

• Experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
• Ability to perform clinical tasks such as blood draws, IV placement, and medication administration
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Research SOPs
• Proficiency in maintaining clinical documentation and case report forms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
