About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day clinical trial tasks including participant recruitment, screening, enrollment, and follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate clinical research files, administer questionnaires, and manage case report forms (CRFs).
  • Perform data entry activities involving Protected Health Information (PHI), clinical, and administrative data.
  • Facilitate communication between Principal Investigators, compliance offices, and study sponsors.
  • Manage specimen processing and coordinate financial transactions related to study subject compensation.
  • Ensure adherence to workplace and patient safety protocols and maintain research supply inventory.
  • Assist with research team meetings, investigator check-ins, sponsor visits, and external audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically with strong Excel skills.
  • Ability to work semi-independently in a deadline-driven, multi-tasking environment.
  • Strong commitment to fostering diversity and equity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant clinical research field.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and research data entry tools such as REDCap, Qualtrics, iLab, or OpenSpeciman.
  • Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, HIPAA, IRB, and other regulatory compliance activities.
  • Bi-lingual skills (Spanish and English).
  • Phlebotomy certification or related medical certification (e.g., CMA, Nursing degree).
  • Background in scientific, health-related, or business administration programs.
