About the role

Responsibilities

  • Screen and enroll clinical research study subjects following established SOPs and GCP guidelines
  • Obtain informed consent and ensure all patient privacy and safety protocols are met
  • Perform basic clinical procedures including blood draws (phlebotomy), vital signs, and ECGs
  • Review laboratory, ECG, and other test results for completeness and alert values
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including real-time data entry and study medication inventory
  • Identify and promptly report adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs)
  • Assist with patient recruitment efforts and the creation of recruitment materials
  • Coordinate with clinical staff and Sponsor/CRO representatives during site visits

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator
  • Recent phlebotomy experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and federal research regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Mesa, Arizona

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Excellent working knowledge of medical and research terminology
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and attention to detail skills
