About the role

Responsibilities

  • Screen and enroll study candidates while obtaining informed consent per SOPs
  • Perform basic clinical procedures including blood draws, vital signs, and ECGs
  • Monitor study subjects and ensure strict adherence to protocol and regulatory compliance
  • Review laboratory, ECG, and other test results for completeness and alert values
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including real-time data entry and medication inventory
  • Identify and promptly report adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs)
  • Assist with patient recruitment planning and active participant outreach
  • Coordinate with clinical staff and Sponsor/CRO representatives during site visits

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year prior Clinical Research Coordinator experience
  • Recent phlebotomy experience
  • National phlebotomy certification (required for Louisiana-based roles)
  • Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and FDA regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office and clinical trial databases (EDC, IVRS)
  • Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Shreveport, LA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field
  • Excellent working knowledge of medical and research terminology
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with high attention to detail
