About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor clinical research study subjects while ensuring protocol and regulatory compliance through Good Clinical Practices (GCP).
- Perform basic clinical procedures including blood draws (phlebotomy), vital signs, and ECGs.
- Manage patient recruitment, pre-screening candidates, and obtaining informed consent.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including real-time data entry, medication inventory, and regulatory filings.
- Identify and promptly report Adverse Events (AEs) and Serious Adverse Events (SAEs) to the Principal Investigator and Sponsor.
- Review laboratory, ECG, and other test results for completeness and alert values.
- Coordinate site visits, including pre-study, initiation, and monitoring visits.
- Travel up to 75% within the Northeast region to support various clinical sites.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
- Recent phlebotomy experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of GCP and FDA regulations.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with clinical trials databases, electronic data capture (EDC), and MS Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- 1 year of experience specifically as a Care Access Research Clinical Research Coordinator.
