About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investigative sites, providing clinical trial information and strengthening partnerships.
- Conduct site evaluations, training, routine monitoring, and site closure activities in compliance with protocols and regulations.
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practices (GCP), ICH Guidelines, and AbbVie Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor site activities to detect early signs of study performance or patient safety issues through continuous risk assessment.
- Ensure the quality and timely submission of study data, including appropriate reporting of safety events.
- Maintain audit and regulatory inspection readiness at all assigned clinical sites.
- Support patient recruitment and retention efforts by understanding the patient disease journey and therapeutic landscape.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree; a health-related degree (e.g., Medical, Scientific, Nursing, Pharmacy) is preferred.
- Experience in clinical research, preferably in clinical research coordinating or data management.
- Strong knowledge of ICH/GCP Guidelines and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written, verbal, and active listening abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment with competing projects and deadlines.
- Must reside in the Little Rock, AR or Dallas, TX area and be willing to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of specific therapeutic area indications.
- Ability to apply scientific concepts to the conduct of clinical trials.
- Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools for site engagement tracking.
