Clinical Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain study documents, including source charts, study binders, and regulatory binders
• Schedule and confirm subject appointments and ancillary visits
• Assist in participant recruitment through EMR prescreening and outreach
• Provide subject care, including explaining procedures and monitoring compliance
• Conduct study procedures such as collecting vital signs and performing ECGs
• Perform phlebotomy and process biological samples
• Maintain laboratory equipment and temperature control systems
• Enter and verify study data in EDC and CTMS databases
• Maintain and organize participant charts and Investigator Site Files
• Support clinical research coordinators with administrative tasks

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in clinical research or healthcare
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EDC systems
• Familiarity with medical terminology and lab procedures
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collect and analyze data accurately
• Understanding of HIPAA, FDA, GCP, and ICH guidelines preferred
• Basic lab skills such as blood draws and specimen processing preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• BLS/CPR certification
• CNA or CMA certification
