About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support participant care and event operations, including phlebotomy, specimen handling, and documentation.
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary collections while maintaining aseptic technique and participant comfort.
  • Handle and prepare biospecimens, including labeling, processing, packaging, and maintaining chain-of-custody and temperature controls.
  • Accurately document all procedures and results in approved electronic or paper systems according to regulatory compliance (GxP, HIPAA).
  • Assist with clinical research event setup and breakdown, including preparing kits and maintaining organized workspaces.
  • Welcome and guide participants through the event flow to ensure a professional experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience performing phlebotomy and specimen handling activities.
  • Proficiency in venipuncture and specimen handling best practices.
  • Active and unrestricted State Board of Nursing license in good standing.
  • For RN applicants: An active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
  • Tech readiness: Comfort using mobile apps and e-source tools for real-time documentation.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, event-based environment with high attention to detail.
