Clinical Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support participant care and event operations, including phlebotomy, specimen handling, and documentation.
• Perform venipuncture and capillary collections while maintaining aseptic technique and participant comfort.
• Handle and prepare biospecimens, including labeling, processing, packaging, and shipping under proper chain-of-custody and temperature controls.
• Accurately document all procedures and results in approved e-source tools and logs according to regulatory compliance (GxP, HIPAA).
• Assist with clinical research event setup and breakdown, ensuring a safe, organized, and professional workspace.
• Welcome participants and guide them through the event flow to ensure a positive experience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience performing phlebotomy and specimen handling activities.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
• Proficiency in venipuncture and specimen handling best practices.
• Experience using e-source tools and mobile applications for real-time documentation.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, event-based environment with strong attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
