Clinical Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Participate in recruitment and pre-screening events to identify potential participants
• Assist with participant recruitment by conducting phone screenings and reviewing medical records
• Obtain informed consent under the direction of the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
• Complete visit procedures, including collecting, processing, and shipping specimens as directed by protocol
• Record data accurately and enter it in real time on paper or e-source documents
• Maintain adherence to FDA regulations and ICH guidelines in all aspects of clinical trials
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and maintaining site logs
• Manage inventory and order necessary equipment and supplies
• Maintain professional relationships with study participants, investigators, and management

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish (required)
• Minimum of 1-year recent working experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, Clinical Research Assistant, or Phlebotomist
• Proven phlebotomy experience and proficiency
• Working knowledge of medical and research terminology
• Working knowledge of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically within clinical research
