About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in recruitment and pre-screening events to identify potential participants
- Assist with participant recruitment by conducting phone screenings and reviewing medical records
- Obtain informed consent under the direction of the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
- Complete visit procedures, including collecting, processing, and shipping specimens as directed by protocol
- Record data accurately and enter it in real time on paper or e-source documents
- Maintain adherence to FDA regulations and ICH guidelines in all aspects of clinical trials
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and maintaining site logs
- Manage inventory and order necessary equipment and supplies
- Maintain professional relationships with study participants, investigators, and management
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Minimum of 1-year recent working experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, Clinical Research Assistant, or Phlebotomist
- Proven phlebotomy experience and proficiency
- Working knowledge of medical and research terminology
- Working knowledge of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

- Previous experience specifically within clinical research
