Clinical Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with participant recruitment, pre-screening, and conducting phone screenings
• Identify potential participants by reviewing medical records, study charts, and subject databases
• Obtain informed consent under the direction of the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
• Complete visit procedures, collect, process, and ship specimens as required by protocol
• Record data accurately and enter it in real time on paper or e-source documents
• Maintain site logs, inventory, and equipment/supplies
• Perform administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and updating internal trackers
• Maintain adherence to FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
• Interact professionally with study participants, investigators, and sponsor representatives

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish (required)
• Minimum of 1-year recent experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, Clinical Research Assistant, or Phlebotomist
• Proven phlebotomy experience and proficiency
• Working knowledge of medical and research terminology
• Knowledge of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically within clinical research
