About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with participant recruitment, pre-screening, and conducting phone screenings
- Identify potential participants by reviewing medical records, study charts, and subject databases
- Obtain informed consent under the direction of the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
- Complete visit procedures, collect, process, and ship specimens as required by protocol
- Record data accurately and enter it in real time on paper or e-source documents
- Maintain site logs, inventory, and equipment/supplies
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and updating internal trackers
- Maintain adherence to FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
- Interact professionally with study participants, investigators, and sponsor representatives
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Minimum of 1-year recent experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, Clinical Research Assistant, or Phlebotomist
- Proven phlebotomy experience and proficiency
- Working knowledge of medical and research terminology
- Knowledge of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

- Previous experience specifically within clinical research
