Clinical Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Participate in recruitment and pre-screening events to identify potential participants
• Conduct phone screenings and review medical records, study charts, and subject databases
• Assist with obtaining informed consent under the direction of the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
• Complete visit procedures, collect, process, and ship specimens as required by protocol
• Record data accurately and enter it in real time on paper or e-source documents
• Maintain site logs, inventory, and equipment supplies
• Ensure adherence to FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
• Perform administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and updating internal trackers

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, or Phlebotomist
• Proven proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draws
• Working knowledge of medical and research terminology
• Knowledge of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work on-site with regional travel requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working in clinical drug trials
