About the role
Responsibilities
- Participate in recruitment and pre-screening events to identify potential participants
- Conduct phone screenings and review medical records, study charts, and subject databases
- Assist with obtaining informed consent under the direction of the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC)
- Complete visit procedures, collect, process, and ship specimens as required by protocol
- Record data accurately in real time on paper or electronic source documents
- Maintain site logs, inventory, and equipment supplies
- Ensure strict adherence to FDA regulations, ICH guidelines, and institutional SOPs
- Perform administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and updating internal recruitment trackers
Requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Medical Assistant, EMT, LPN, Clinical Research Assistant, or Phlebotomist
- Proven proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draws
- Working knowledge of medical and research terminology
- Understanding of federal regulations and Good Clinical Practices (GCP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working specifically within clinical drug trials
