About the role

About the Company

Abtrace is a healthtech company that builds software to support primary care teams in making proactive health interventions. Our product monitors patient health records to detect signals of deterioration, early onset of disease, and opportunities for preventative interventions, currently supporting over 600 practices across the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical quality assurance activities including structured review, sampling, and audit of clinical content and workflows
  • Assess adherence to internal quality standards, clinical policies, and regulatory frameworks
  • Identify quality gaps, clinical risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Support internal and external audit activity by preparing evidence and documentation
  • Produce high-quality written outputs including QA reports and clinical reviews
  • Provide constructive, evidence-based feedback to clinicians, product teams, and QA engineers
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to translate clinical requirements into technical acceptance criteria
  • Stay informed about external clinical guidance and primary care standards

Requirements

  • Fully qualified GP with current GMC registration
  • Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience in an NHS GP practice
  • Minimum commitment of 3 days a week
  • Solid understanding of primary care processes
  • High attention to detail and methodical approach to documentation
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new technical systems quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
