About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist psychological assessments, including psychometrics and cognitive evaluations
  • Deliver tailored interventions using a range of psychological models and approaches
  • Work collaboratively with service users, families, and professionals to develop care plans
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
  • Offer consultation and advice to colleagues across the service

Requirements

  • HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist
  • Doctoral-level training in Clinical Psychology (BPS-accredited)
  • Knowledge of psychometrics and cognitive assessments
  • Experience working across the lifespan in core specialties

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Learning Disabilities
  • Training in research methodology or staff training
  • Experience in teaching, supervision, or working in diverse cultural contexts
