Clinical Project Director, Operational Oversight

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage teams responsible for the clinical delivery of complex, global, multi-regional studies and programs.
• Lead bid defense presentations in partnership with business development for large, multi-service studies.
• Oversee the development of integrated study management plans and ensure execution aligns with contract terms.
• Optimize speed, quality, and cost of delivery while ensuring compliance with SOPs, policies, and procedures.
• Proactively manage strategic risks, contingencies, and problem-solving efforts at the program or portfolio level.
• Serve as the primary project or portfolio contact for customers, owning the relationship and driving operational consistency.
• Ensure financial success of projects by forecasting revenue, managing change control, and identifying scope opportunities.
• Mentor and support the professional development of less experienced project team members.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant experience in clinical project management or clinical research.
• Proven expertise in strategic decision-making for complex clinical programs.
• Strong experience in clinical study execution and operational oversight.
• Demonstrated ability in financial management and revenue forecasting.
• Expertise in risk management and implementing corrective/preventative action plans.
