Clinical Professor

Responsibilities

• Teach ELMSN program content in both didactic and clinical settings
• Advise students and participate in clinical simulations
• Engage in curriculum development and interprofessional education
• Oversee clinical adjuncts and manage student placement in clinical agencies
• Manage required clinical documentation through tracking systems
• Assist with student and part-time faculty orientation
• Participate in program, curriculum, and campus committee meetings
• Support accreditation preparation activities

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing, clinical research, health sciences, or a related field
• Demonstrated teaching experience in pharmacology, pathophysiology, biomedical sciences, or health sciences
• Registered Nurse license

Preferred Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, EdD, DrPH, or related)
• Experience teaching research, epidemiology, population health, or evidence-based practice in higher education
• Record of scholarship including publications, presentations, or grants
• Experience with simulation, case-based learning, or innovative pedagogy
• Experience with Canvas or other Learning Management Systems (LMS)
• Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive teaching
