Clinical Professor

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Division of Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes
• Participate in teaching and didactic instruction for medical students and residents
• Engage in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Collaborate effectively with other clinicians in an academic medicine environment
• Contribute to the development of advanced care delivery models

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of postgraduate clinical training
• Board certified or board eligible in a relevant specialty
• Ability to obtain or hold a Michigan medical license
• Demonstrated clinical competence and didactic teaching experience
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior training or clinical experience at a major academic medical center
• Combination of clinical and research excellence
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and dedication to medical education
