About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate courses within the didactic component of the Physician Assistant Program
- Manage curriculum development, coordination, and continuous evaluation
- Provide academic counseling, advising, and mentorship to graduate students
- Participate in program administration and accreditation activities, including ARC-PA standards compliance
- Serve on the admissions committee and assist in clinical site development and monitoring
- Engage in scholarly activities and contributions to the advancement of PA education and clinical practice
- Develop and implement student remediation plans as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree in a field related to physician assistant practice or PA education
- NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants, or ABMS/AOA specialty board certification for Physicians
- Current Massachusetts licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of three years of experience as a practicing clinician
- Proven experience in higher education (e.g., faculty, lecturer, or preceptor)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to travel to various clinical sites

- Expertise in program accreditation and resource allocation
- Experience with technology integration and online learning environments
- Background in program administration and assessment planning
