Clinical Professor and Rodin Associate Dean for Experiential Learning

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership, management, and assessment of experiential education within the School of Law
• Oversee and support all experiential programs, including externships, clinics, moot court, simulations, and practica
• Teach one course each semester, including instruction within the law school’s externships program
• Lead periodic strategic planning efforts for the experiential enterprise in collaboration with the Dean and faculty
• Coordinate law clinics to provide enhanced services to students and clients
• Support the school’s fundraising initiatives to drive curricular and programmatic innovation
• Mentor students and support experiential faculty to enhance the program's national reputation

Requirements

• JD from an accredited institution
• Proven experience in experiential education and clinical instruction
• Demonstrated experience in program leadership or managing large-scale initiatives
• Experience in student mentoring and teaching
• Experience supporting fundraising efforts
• Commitment to and experience in serving or implementing programs for poor communities
• Strong communication skills and a record of successful collaboration within a law school setting
