Clinical Professor and Program Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, ensuring curriculum accuracy and compliance with regulatory processes.
• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses within the School of Nursing.
• Engage in active research and scholarship to contribute to the university's research-intensive environment.
• Manage program enrollment growth, student recruitment, and admissions evaluations in collaboration with enrollment management.
• Monitor student academic standing, progression, and graduation clearance processes.
• Foster external relationships with professional associations, clinical placement sites, and industry leaders.
• Execute program assessment and evaluation plans and manage professional accreditation reviews.
• Manage program resources, including faculty teaching workloads and class scheduling.

Requirements

• Terminal degree in Nursing, Education, or a related field by the appointment start date.
• Evidence of an established area of research and scholarship.
• Demonstrated teaching excellence and commitment to supporting faculty, staff, and student environments.
• Current North Carolina RN licensure.
• Eligibility for RN licensure in Massachusetts.

• Experience working with and mentoring global student populations.
• Interdisciplinary expertise that allows for collaboration across the Bouvé College of Health Sciences and the broader university system.
